So, it’s not ALL about the kids!

The adults have to have fun too, right?

And fun we had!

In addition to the convenience of having a beer/wine store on the premises, Massey’s Landing also has their Jackspot Pool Bar.

The swimming pool is divided into 2 sections: 1 section is for anybody under 21 years of age and 1 section is for anybody 21 and over.

With palm trees, hibiscus flowers, and great music playing, swimming up to the pool bar and enjoying one of their amazing mixed drinks was a luxury we couldn’t pass up.

Massey’s Landing is the pet friendliest place we’ve ever vacationed!

They even offer dog walking services and their Tail Bangers dog snacks!

We saw dogs enjoying themselves with their families everywhere throughout the campground:

  • Sandy Paws Dog Beach

  • On a leash inside the Welcome Center

Our dog Stella had a fantastic time and cannot wait to visit again!

9. Massey’s Landing Has That Resort Feel

A true resort at Massey's Landing

All of the details that went into creating a relaxed, FUN, family and dog friendly atmosphere do not go unnoticed.

The vibe is chill and laid back with the tropical trees, flowers, bright colored buildings, the waterfront, the beach, Sandy Dollar Tiki Bar with it’s Caribbean flair, and the pier that stretches out for that perfect evening sunset.

Live music was playing right next to the tiki bar the Saturday night that we were there.

Just a perfect atmosphere!

10. Close Proximity to Activities Off-Site

If you’re here long enough, you might want to venture off-site to check out other things to do in the area.

Because Massey’s Landing is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Rehoboth Beach {free shuttles from the campground to Rehoboth Beach are included in your stay} and about 60 minutes from Ocean City, why not take a day trip to the ocean.

We drove to Ocean City for an exciting ride on the Sea Rocket.

“The first of its kind, this red, white and blue oversized speedboat has an awesome rooster tail spray that thrills its riders!”

While listening to great music and speeding alongside Ocean City’s coastline we had an absolute blast!

Sea Rocket also offers parasailing and fishing trips.

So, we decided, we’re already here, let’s go parasailing!

It was the thrill of a lifetime!

Our boys were able to go up several times with a parent in tow.

I went up with my 12 year old son; a memory I’ll personally never forget!
